Updating after changing your AS/400 password

Each time you change your password on the AS/400 you need to follow these steps

To begin, you should have already changed your AS/400 password. First off, click on Start, go to Programs, and then:



Keep Going over to Acceler8DB, and you should see this:



Left click on Acceler8DB Manager (highlighted). It should open the following Window:



As you see, once the Window is open, click on "Database" and "Work with Database Names" as shown. What you should see next is this:



You will want to click the down arrow next to "Name" which will bring down what you see. Click on AS400 DataBase and you will then see the following:



You will want to ensure that beside "username" is the same username that you use on the AS400. Then delete whatever is in "Password" and type in your new AS400 password. Type it in again into "Confirm", and then click the "Apply" Button.

Click the "Close" button, then close everything else and you are set.
